Constance Bennett and Cary Grant play Marion and George Kerby, a wealthy, freewheeling young married couple whose uninhibited lifestyle is the talk of the town. After a particularly bibulous evening on the town, the Kerby's race homeward in their gleaming new roadster. George fails to negotiate a curve, and the car plows into a tree, killing both its occupants. Seconds later, the ghosts of George and Marion emerge from the wreckage, behaving as frivolously as if nothing had happened. Upon realizing that they're dead, the Kerby's also realize that they haven't been immediately snatched up into Heaven. Determining that they're required to perform one good deed before being allowed past the Pearly Gates, George and Marion set about to "liberate" stuffy, sedate, henpecked banker Cosmo Topper (Roland Young). Though special effects abound in Topper, most of the humor derives from the embarrassed reactions of Roland Young as he tries to fend off the flirtatious advances of the ghostly Marion and the benignly strongman tactics of the spectral George.

GO RUSH!
Jeremy recently 'won' a jersey at a local hockey game. It just so happened to be of my favorite player, Miguel Beaudry, so I've inherited it. . . and then he had it signed!

Nostalgia Night
A friend of mine and I go to the 'Old Movie Series' every year. Well, we caught the end of it last year and this year we bought season tickets ( $35 for 10 movies! You can't beat that! ). So it's a new tradition; one that we've already decided to keep doing all year long. When the Series ends in March, we are going to pick our own movies to watch at home, on our comfy couches. We're going to call it the Katie and Elizabeth Great Classic Movie Spectacular! So if you have any suggestions for great 'old' movies let me know.
The first movie in the Nostalgia Night Series, January 10th, was a hit: Robin and the Seven Hoods, the last Rat Pack film.

2010 Calendar
This year's calendar was a little different. Thanks to the scrapbook software Jeremy gave me last year, MyMemoriesSuite, the actual calendar pages look more professional. Last years theme was music, this years theme is love. It focuses on my parents, Sara and Jake, myself and Jeremy, both sets of my grandparents and Adeline of course. Each couple is featured in two months, one wedding photo, the other candid. I used two abstract pictures of Adeline for her two months. Each page incoporates a key to symolize that we hold the keys to each others hearts all year long.
